Mothering Sunday

Mummy was treated to breakfast in bed this morning. There was also gifts of flowers and chocs. Oh, and some froodie pink and multicolour striped wellies. Well, we are country folk now !

We then headed off for a special Mothering Sunday service in the nearby village of Willoughby. Rev Jane had arranged for lovely spring posies as gifts for all the mums, which the children handed out. Such was the enthusiasm of the flower arrangers that there was enough for some of the dads. More of the Willoughby fun can be found by clicking here.

The afternoon was finished off with a traditional sunday meal. Well, traditional if you're Chinese, since we went to the Water Margin in nearby Long Itchington and helped ourselves to piles of grub from their wonderful Oriental buffet. True to form Thomas got himself covered in chocolate cake.
