Paddy's Birthday

What a surprise to come home from work to. Two small children beside themselves with the prospect of a 'secret' party for theirDad, whilst the little fella simply looked on bemused.

As you'd expect on such an occasion, there was plenty of party food, and crackers on the table too!

Even Joseph wanted to have a go at pulling one.
And what better way to finish up. CAKE!

Blinking Brother In Law

In response to the recent blog entry by Dave on both the wonderfully warm New Years Day he enjoyed, and the pristine shine on his trusty Disco I offer the following, showing how warm it gets here close to midday. And the pristine road-salt finish on my Pug.

Eat yer heart out Burrell.

January Sales

A trip out to shod the kids. They both seemed rightly chuffed with their new winter foot-wear.

well, you ask Joyce and Vicki
if candy-floss is sticky
I'm not a blinking thicky
I'm Billericay Dickie
and i'm doing very well

Happy New Year 2008

New Year's day, and as has become the custom since we moved we get out in the fresh air to take a walk in the wonderful countryside around our village. With Joseph in tow in his back-pack we walked our wellies off on the fields around Grandborough. Rural Heaven!

Pinky & Perky pose for the usual photo on the style. If you check last years posting, you will note that Rosie has got a whole year out of that coat.

It's all too much for Joseph

Whilst Lucy decides it's time to show off here froody new pink gloves.
