Christmas 2011

Well, Father Christmas has been kind this year, somehow finding space on his sleigh for three bikes. 

Nanny & Grandad provided the helmets, saving Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen & Rudolf from having to haul more.

So below you can see the monsters about to break the law and cycle down The Lane, Grandborough

By mid August Dad was finally released from the Oxford Circus Penitentiary, hopped on the plane and headed for the nearest bar.

At the start of the holidays Dad had to stay at home working, so the credit card bill covering the flights could be paid off. Didn't stop Mum & the kids having fun with Grandma & Gumpsy

Bachelor Dining

With Lucy & The Terrors into their second week in Sunny España, I'm running out of culinary inspiration, and on the Sabbath, have to resort to opening a tin.

Not....

Sunday can mean only one thing - a proper dinner of....

Roast chicken with rich gravy, a selection of seasonal vegetables and boiled new potatoes in herb butter.
A bottle of 2010 Garnacha from the Campo De Borja.

Home made rice pudding sweetened with a mixture of tropical fruits.

A soft, organic, English goats cheese served with biscuits and the chefs own piquanté apple & tomato chutney
Espresso and a glass of Dow's Finest Reserve Port.

Large snooze on the sofa to follow.....
