Who ate all the pie??

Left-over turkey doesn't have to be all suffering. Once transformed into a lucious, puffy, pie it's life expectancy can be severely shortened.

Village Nativity Service

With just a week until Christmas, and our village Church holds it's monthly family service. This month there's a Nativity theme with live participation from Biblical characters. Not so sure if the Ben Ten wellies are ancient Palestinain originals...

Nativity Play 2010

The boys have been treading the boards at the Parish Hall in Leamington Hastings

Thomas playing the part of Angel Gabriel in a tunic (NOT a dress he tells me)

Whilst Joseph played the part of a (very cheeky) sheep. Baaaah!

Freshly Polished Ice

The coldest day of the year - so far. And the council send out the road-sweeper on it's annual visit.

At least the ice out there is nuce and clean now.

Dunchurch Remembrance Service

The local Guides & Scouts were out in force having been invited by the local British Legion to attend this years Remembrance Service. Despite cold, early morning, fog - and no coats - the kids supported this solemn occasion with great dignity.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Waaaaaahhhhh!

Greenwood Forest Park - home to the Green Dragon - the world's first environmentally-friendly roller coaster which harnesses people-power to minimise use of electricity. Indeed, over a year of operation, the ride generates more power than it uses!

And the O'Reilly's contributed to that power...

Trip To Wem Ber Lee

The sun was shining as we headed to Wembley to watch the Saracens play the 'Quinns

It was Pinky & Perky's first trip to the home of that other game they call 'football'. They were quite excited thinking they were going to work there with Dad. Sadly for them I was going as a civvie for a change.

No Wembely trip is complete without some merchandising tat....

...though the tight rope walk across the top of the stadium was a first...

...Sadly, hassle on the tube is nothing new - so a couple of bus journeys added to the fun of the day.

Oh, and the Sarries won!
