Three Pesky Kids, Three Pesky Pantos

Rosie in full voice with the rest of the choir

Thomas does a chicken dance - with his back to the camera (that's him in the brown)

And Joseph was dressed like a King, though suffering from stage-fright.

Choc-Chic

"My helping" as Joseph puts it, when he want to be part of the fun.

And what better fun can be had than helping Mummy do some baking.

Especially when it involves chocolate!

All The Fun Of The (school) Fair

The school's annual Christmas Fair, time for fun & fund raising.

Face-painting is a must, but this years' special treat was a chance for a pony ride.

Though some chose a less energetic alternative....

Parking Yer Breakfast

Proving he's growing up all the time, Joseph demonstrates that the desire to 'drop a few friends off' need not interrupt the joys of television....

Holidays 2009

Another summer of sun.... failed to make it to Blighty.

Thankfully we have Lucy's folks in Spain. Sun, Sea & Sangria. And daily temperatures in the mid 30s. Bliss.

All that & Joe learned how to use the potty.

Rosie's 7th Birthday

Another year passes, as Rosie celebrates her 7th birthday AND her last day at Leamington Hastings School.

Wearing the red uniform for the last time, she opened a few presents before heading off for the bus.

In the evening, we had a lovely Chinese meal; where during the hors d'Å“uvre, the loose front tooth, that had been wobbling for days, finally came away.... and disappeared!! It couldn't be found on the floor, so who knows, it may have been swallowed.

Of course no birthday is complete without...

Father's Day

Barely recovering from the previous night's excesses and it's off to the village pub for some Golden Sheep ale and a hunk of roasted cow.

The Nintedo DSs kept the kids entertained, and a jolly good feast was had by all

Grandborough Pig Roast

Barely recovering from the previous night's excesses and it's off to the village hall for some Atomic ale and a hunk of roasted swine.

The band kept us entertained, the kids ran riot, and a jolly good knees up was had by all.

Happy Campers

Daddy & the Three Terrors head off afar to deepest Napton for an evening under canvas with the Happy Campers of Birdingbury. This was a Dad & Kids only event, and as a result, required childcare methods that would have made Maria Montessori proud.

A diet of salty crisps, fluorescent sweets, brightly coloured pop, sugary marshmallows and greasy fish & chips kept energy levels up. Fathering such a crowd was thirsty work too, and we are greatly indebted to the founding fathers of Diagio, InBev, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma & vintners worldwide for sustaining us into the early hours.

Click on the photos to see full size & count the children!

Oh and Fluff had to make a complete ar*e of himself.... can't take his ale, that one.
