A rainy day in Grandborough, and the road out of the village to the north floods - click on the picture above to appreciate it better. A family outing was required to enjoy the air and watch the motoring chaos.
Those in the know drive along the 'causeway' a glorified widened footpath designed to bypass where the river Leam occasionally bursts it's banks.
Those with 4WD, just plough through the water.
Those who don't know flood their engines :-).
We witnessed this fool plough into the water - as deep as the wheels. Funnily enough the engine stopped. Probably for good.
