Trip To Wem Ber Lee

The sun was shining as we headed to Wembley to watch the Saracens play the 'Quinns

It was Pinky & Perky's first trip to the home of that other game they call 'football'. They were quite excited thinking they were going to work there with Dad. Sadly for them I was going as a civvie for a change.

No Wembely trip is complete without some merchandising tat....

...though the tight rope walk across the top of the stadium was a first...

...Sadly, hassle on the tube is nothing new - so a couple of bus journeys added to the fun of the day.

Oh, and the Sarries won!

Easter Message

Border Road

The A710 Broughton to Moffat. Sadly on 4 wheels rather than 2 - but then look at the surface water - it was throwing it down.

Golf and Football

Sunday morning - but no time for a lie-in. Thomas does wake up very early!!

We had a great big cooked breakfast in the hotel - there was a menu full of choices

Afterwards, we met up with some of Thomas' family at a nearby golf club. We didn't play any golf, but we did see all the trophies in a special cabinet......

....went into the club-house where there was a bar - though everybody was drinking coffee....

....and even got to sit in a golf buggy.

Then we drove back to Grandborough just in time for Thomas to do some football training with the village team.


After some more food (Thomas is always eating) and a nice bath we had a nice story, and went to bed - back to school tomorrow.

A Night In A Hotel

On Saturday we went on a long drive to Essex.
We stopped off at a hotel and had a great lunch there.

Thomas had a wonderful dessert of choclate and ice-cream

There was also a soft play area to have fun in.

Later on Thomas and his family went off to a wedding party - they thought it would be too noisy for me so I waited back in the hotel I got to share a hotel bed with Thomas that night.

Spikey Goes Home With Thomas

On Friday, I went home with Thomas, who was wearing a mask he made at School. Today was Mrs Holmes' last day, and all the children had a lovely cake from her with sweets on top. Thomas shared his with me and the rest of his family.



Later in the evening we watched Dancing On Ice on the telly, had a nice cup of hot chocolate, and then went to bed - tomorrow was to be a busy day!

Party Boy

For the first time, Joseph has been invited to a school friends' birthday party.

The celebrations were for Todd & Katie.

There was party food galore, & lots of fun in the play barn.

It was all too much for the little man, who fell asleep on the way home. Still hanging onto his party bag - which contained C A K E !
