I Am Four (weeks old)
How time flies when your having fun. Four weeks have gone by and the little man continues to feed and grow. He's now 4.22kg (having started at 3.67kg). Four those of you watching in black and white, that's a gain of over 19oz. Which is about the weight of a pint of beer!
Here's the latest picture; Joseph being strangled by Rosie.

Visitors
A new arrival means we've been blessed with visitors. Grandma has been here for the long haul,

and is off back to Spain shortly.

Meanwhile, Nanny & Grandad have come up
for a few days to meet Joseph.

And their other grand-children.

May Day Bank Holiday
A fairly easy-going weekend. We had the company of Fluff from Rosie's school (see blog entry below).
Saturday was spent doing the usual stuff; shopping, swimming & children's parties.
There was also time for Rosie & Thomas to get to know Joseph a little better

Sunday Rosie spent some time sewing with Grandma,
and later we braved the variable spring weather and had a barbeque on the green with a few neighbours.
And the highligh on Monday was lunch in the local rub-a-dub, the Shoulder of Mutton. This was Joseph's first (of no doubt many to come) visits to a pub.
He seemed pretty unimpressed and slept until his Dad's steamed pudding and custard arrived. However, the pub wasn't spoiled, since Landlady Sheila took over child holding duties until the bowl was clean.

Pinky and Perky had no problems at all consuming their dessert...

Update on Junior
Today (Monday) we paid the ultrasound dept at Warwick hospital a visit. Junior is doing fine - and was incredibly active during the scan. No sooner did the sonographer (??) get a clear image when he/she would wriggle out of view again.
