It's that time of year when the kids get to shove their hands deep inside a large vegetable


finish off nature's creation with a goulish look

Make the mother of all messes

Then scare the living bejasus out of the old folks around the neighbourhood

Finally got around to trying our hand at baking sour-dough bread.

A couple of days in Kent, to see in 2010...

Joseph proved himself as cheeky as ever - no respect for his elders that one.

Thomas was, literally, glued to the tube.

And Rosie demonstrated an amazing appetite - but then we all did.

A day out for half term at Hatton Country World.

There was plenty of pumpkin based fun, plus all number of domestic animals from guinea pigs to falcons.

Holidays 2009

Another summer of sun.... failed to make it to Blighty.

Thankfully we have Lucy's folks in Spain. Sun, Sea & Sangria. And daily temperatures in the mid 30s. Bliss.

All that & Joe learned how to use the potty.

A day in Portsmouth

After taking the scenic route (eh, Nige??) we ended up in the harbour area of Portmouth, where we enjoyed an ice-cream in the sun.



And whilst the ladies explored the shops with Joseph, dads & kids went up the Spinnaker Tower to take in the view. All around the harbour; and thanks to the glass floor, straight down.

Christmas 2007

As has become the custom, the kids leave a small tot and a mince pie by the fire for Santa Claus, along with some carrots for Rudolph & friends.

Following a quick pose for the camera, all three are off to bed, PDQ.

The next morning, stocking presents are opened in bed, accompanied by an early morning cuppa and a restorative biscuit.

Following which, Pinky & Perky charge downstairs to check that the big bloke in the red tunic has left them all they desired.

Christingles At Flecknoe 2007

St Mark's Church, Flecknoe was once again the host to the Christingle Service. The service was well attended, and the choir from Leamington Hastings School sung a sung for everyone (very quietly!)
